Saratoga Springs football storms past Mamaroneck in state semifinals to reach Class AA title game

MIDDLETOWN — When the Saratoga Springs football team boarded its tour bus on Saturday morning, there was a swagger swirling up and down the aisles. It wasn’t arrogance that had possessed the Blue Streaks, but rather, a sense of self-confidence infused with composure.

“This was the most confident I've ever seen them,” Blue Streaks head coach Eric Hayden remarked. “They looked confident, but not overconfident. They looked hungry.”
