A 40-year-old man from Poulsbo was killed Saturday morning in a head-on collision with a delivery truck near Kingston on the Kitsap Peninsula.

A 37-year-old Bremerton woman was driving the International 4000 series delivery truck with a suspended license, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Poulsbo man was driving a Ford F-150 with a passenger east on Highway 104 when the delivery truck, coming from the opposite direction, crossed into the eastbound lane and struck the man’s vehicle head-on near Carlin Court. The passenger was not injured, but was taken to the hospital, according to the State Patrol.

The driver of the delivery truck faces a negligent driving charge in addition to driving with a suspended license. She was not injured.
