SEATTLE — There is something about the rivalry matchup with Washington that brings out the need for Oregon to go for it on fourth down.

Dan Lanning, who was criticized for his aggressiveness in losses to Washington in 2022 and 2023, wisely had the No. 6 Ducks go for it on three fourth downs during their 26-14 win over the Huskies Saturday afternoon at Husky Stadium.

Oregon (11-1, 8-1 Big Ten) converted on its first two fourth down tries, extending drives that eventually built a 13-0 lead during the second quarter.
