A mum heard her boyfriend talking to another woman over a baby monitor.

The relationship between Hassan Mahmood and his partner had been fine until that moment, Birmingham Crown Court was told.

But it then deteriorated and came to an end after the 33-year-old later attacked her, while she was pregnant, on June 8 this year.

The expectant mum had asked Mahmood to get out of bed to help with their other son.

But he then accused her of scratching his car and called her a 'f***ing b****.

Mahmood proceeded to press his fingers into his girlfriend's face and then smacked her phone out of her hand.

He pleaded guilty to assault by beating and was sentenced to six weeks on Friday, November
