Nationwide clarifies £175 payment eligibility as two groups may not know they qualify

Nationwide Building Society has clarified who is eligible for a £175 payment. The building society is offering £175 to those who switch from a non- Nationwide bank account to a new or existing FlexDirect, FlexAccount or FlexPlus account with them.

However, the eligibility rules initially seem to exclude many people. According to the Nationwide website, to qualify for the cash offer, this must be the first time you've switched to one of their accounts since 2021. But upon further reading, there are two notable exceptions.
