Mohamed Salah has been left on the bench for Liverpool 's game at West Ham on Sunday, marking the first time Arne Slot has dropped the star forward in the Premier League .

Salah has been cast out amid a poor run of form for club and player -- Liverpool having lost six of seven in the league and Salah only managing four goals so far this season.

Florian Wirtz is back in after missing two games with a knock, as Slot tinkers with his lineup looking to lift the champions back into the top half of the table.
