New York Jets cornerback Kris Boyd has been hospitalized again, less than two weeks after he suffered a gunshot wound, while police continue to search for the gunman.

Boyd was shot in the early hours of Nov. 16 during a confrontation outside a Midtown Manhattan restaurant. Authorities said the round entered his abdomen, then migrated into his lung and lodged near the pulmonary artery, leading to multiple procedures.

He later posted on social media that he'd begun breathing without assistance, but on Wednesday night told his followers he'd been readmitted.

"I was released but had to return to the hospital due to my health issues," Boyd wrote in part. "I love and appreciate everyone of yall dearly who has prayed/reached out even if I can't get back to you.
