On Saturday, November 22nd, in preparation for Thanksgiving, Assemblywoman Rebecca Kassay and members of her staff partnered with Long Island Cares to distribute hundreds of turkeys, chickens, hams, and pies to VFW and American Legion Posts across Assembly District 4. The effort aims to show gratitude for veterans and their families during the holiday season, recognizing them for their service to our communities and our country.

Following coordination efforts with leadership from each post, the outreach team traveled across District 4 to visit VFW Post 400, VFW Post 4927, American Legion Post 432, and American Legion Post 1776. Each delivery enabled local posts to distribute food directly to veterans and their families.
