Well, we know one thing for sure. Hard-working Auburn football coach Alex Golesh will never be accused of playing too much golf.

Auburn hired Golesh on Sunday to replace golf hack Hugh Freeze.

First question: Who the heck is Alex Golesh?

Answer: The son of immigrants with an inspiring climb through America.

Golesh was born in Moscow and moved to the U.S. as a child. He fell in love with football in Ohio and poured himself into the game. It’s a great origin story, no doubt, but all I want to know is whether or not this mystery man can win the SEC.

Can Golesh out-coach Kirby Smart at Georgia and Alabama’s Kalen DeBoer of the Black Hood?
