FARGO — Sung Kim has been an anchor in the Chick-fil-A community since 2019, when he first started as a front-of-house director, and has now taken over as the new owner/operator of the West Acres location.
Kim, 29, relocated from the Washington D.C. area and officially took ownership of the 13th Avenue franchise on Nov. 1. He moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area in October and expressed his enthusiasm, noting how welcoming the people of Fargo have been.
“When I stepped into my apartment, there were eight people waiting at my doorstep to help me move in,” Kim said. “People of Fargo have been very welcoming. It’s been a great experience.”
Kim is bringing his leadership skills — shaped by a mix of global experience, military discipline and an unwavering belief in people — to his new role.
