For Andrew Ao, wellness isn’t just a lifestyle. It was a literal life saver.
The Vancouverite recalls heading down a dark path when he was growing up.
“I used to be an ex-gang member and an ex-drug dealer,” Ao says. “And in that lifestyle, you only have one of two choices: Either you end up dead, or you’re in jail for the rest of your life.”
Finding himself at a dangerous crossroads, Ao decided it was time to clean up his act.
“I realized that I needed to change my life,” he recalls. And that’s how he discovered fitness.
