The search was ongoing this weekend for a missing 50-year-old man whose disappearance was first made public nearly two weeks ago.
Ontario Provincial Police divers were at Dalewood Conservation Area on Dalewood Road on Saturday afternoon as part of the ongoing search for Ruhirwa Nzabonimpa, the search for whom was first publicly announced by St. Thomas police on Nov. 18.
“This is part of a routine search procedure due to a body of water in the search area,” St. Thomas police officials said in a statement posted to social media this weekend.
On Friday, the city’s police officers searched the area of Dalewood Drive and Water Tower Line, the statement noted.
Nzabonimpa’s last known location was in the area of Dalewood Road at 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 18th, police said, noting he was seen walking
