DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - As millions of people search the internet for Cyber Monday deals, law enforcement says porch pirates are just as busy looking for opportunities to steal packages.

Home security concerns often grow this time of year, as days get shorter and nights get longer, packages are left sitting outside in the dark until people get home from work, giving thieves extra opportunity.

Porch pirates have stolen an estimated 104 million packages over the last year, according to a report from Safewise.
