CHARITON COUNTY, Mo - The final of four bridge deck replacement projects across Carroll, Chariton, and Livingston is set to begin this.

The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the Chariton County Route KK Bridge over the Little Chariton River, north of Glasgow, will close Monday, December 15th. The bridge deck replacement is expected to run through mid-March. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the project. The project originally scheduled to begin December 8th but has been delayed by a week due to contractor schedule changes.

The other bridges currently being worked on are the Livingston County Route D Bridge over Shoal Creek Drainage Ditch, Carroll County Route JJ Bridge over West Fork Wakenda Creek, and the Carroll County Route B Bridge over Sambo
