A 24-year-old Cambridge man is facing charges after Guelph police said he punched a “Good Samaritan” in the face.
Police said the incident occurred Oct. 16 when another Cambridge resident parked his car at Stone Road Mall and saw a physical dispute between a man and woman in another car.
The man yelled in an attempt to stop the fight and the man in the car got out and repeatedly punched him several times, police said.
The victim, in his 30s, later sought medical attention and was diagnosed with a concussion.
The 24-year-old was arrested Friday and charged with assault causing bodily harm.
He will appear in court Jan. 16.
