CINCINNATI —

Three people have been displaced, including a child, after a house fire in Evanston Monday.

It happened around 10:42 a.m. when firefighters responded to the scene of a fire along Hewitt Avenue. Advertisement

According to fire officials, the fire started in the furnace located in the basement.

One of the homeowners and a HVAC repair person were on scene when the fire was found.

Everyone was able to evacuate before crews arrived.

Firefighters began to knock down the flames before it could extend to any other parts of the home. The house was searched and firefighters gave the all clear.

No one was injured in the fire.

The CFD Fire Investigation Unit was called to the scene to investigate.
