A Thanksgiving night robbery has people in a Weslaco neighborhood on high alert.
Neighbors in Sienna Drive say their vigilance may have prevented an even bigger loss.
"Saw two men walking out with some equipment, and they had a door," neighbor Priscilla Luna said.
Luna's family lives on the street where the burglary happened. She says the home that was hit was under construction.
"When we got closer to the house, we noticed that they had broken through the door and took some items, unfortunately, they were stealing," Luna said.
After calling authorities, the family then called the construction company to tell them what happened.
"The doors were here in the middle; they grabbed them, put it inside. The neighbors came running, that was all the time they had. I believe they did this all
