The wedding bells are premature.
During Monday’s episode of “Today,” Reba McEntire, 70 , corrected co-anchor Savannah Guthrie on live TV for incorrectly referring to the country singer’s relationship status with actor Rex Linn.
“You also met your husband there. So Rex, good ole Rex…” said Guthrie, 53.
The “Heart Won’t Lie” singer interrupted the anchor to say, “Now, wait a minute. Before everybody has a conniption fit at home, we’re just engaged.”
Guthrie apologized for the error.
“The Voice” coach said that she had to correct it, otherwise, “My family will go, ‘Wait, you didn’t tell us?!’ ”
