Regular-season success does not always translate to postseason victories. Only one team can hoist the Lombardi Trophy to end the season, and that team is only sometimes the one with the best record.
The New England Patriots, for example, have a chance to take over the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a win over the New York Giants on "Monday Night Football." But they are not in the top five of betting favorites to win Super Bowl 60.
In the NFC, the Chicago Bears hold the No. 1 seed through 13 weeks. Not only do they not crack the top five in odds, but they also don't even crack the top 10. Of NFC teams currently in the NFL playoff picture, Chicago has the lowest odds to make the playoffs at 76%, according to NFL Next Gen Stats.
There are only five full weeks left of the regular season, but that's plenty of time for things to change. Seeding in both conferences can shuffle around, and the 14 teams that will make the playoffs are far from finalized.
Here are the latest Super Bowl odds entering "Monday Night Football" in Week 13:

Super Bowl odds 2026
1. Los Angeles Rams: (+475)
The Rams' loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 13 did not push them out of the top spot in betting odds to win Super Bowl 60. Los Angeles still leads the NFC West (albeit via tiebreaker), still has the MVP front-runner playing quarterback, a receiver on pace for 20 touchdowns, another already over 1,000 yards and one of the NFL's best defenses.
2. Seattle Seahawks: (+850)
Seattle is tied with the Rams for the top spot in the contentious NFC West after their Week 13 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The Seahawks' defense is the third-best in EPA/play allowed (-0.103) and fourth-best in success rate allowed (40.4%). Their only loss on the road so far this year was to the Rams, and they were able to get off an attempt at a game-winning field goal as time expired.
3. Philadelphia Eagles: (+900)
The Eagles have hit a rough patch in recent weeks, having lost their last two games. Philadelphia's offense has still not hit its stride in 2025, ranking as the 11th-worst offense by success rate through 13 weeks. The Eagles' talented roster on paper and position atop the NFC East still has them in a top-three spot among betting favorites. Being the reigning Super Bowl champions can't hurt, either.
T-4. Buffalo Bills: (+1000)
Buffalo is in danger of seeing their streak of five straight AFC East titles snapped. The Patriots could hold a 2.5-game lead in the division by the end of Week 13. But the Bills have more playoff experience than most other teams in the current postseason field, and they have the reigning MVP playing quarterback.
T-4. Green Bay Packers: (+1000)
By EPA/play, the Packers' offense ranks first in the NFL (0.156). By success rate, the unit ranks third (48.6%). On defense, Green Bay has allowed the fifth-fewest points per game of any team (18.8). The Packers are nipping at the Bears' heels in the NFC North division race and have a big chance to unseat them with a win over Chicago in Week 14.
6. Denver Broncos: (+1100)
The Broncos' defense ranks among the top units in football in virtually every metric: EPA/play, success rate, points allowed per game, etc. But Denver's offense does not rank nearly as highly. The Broncos have been able to ride their defense to the top spot of the AFC playoff field after Sunday's Week 13 slate, but there are some questions about how far they could advance in the postseason given some of their weaknesses.
7. New England Patriots: (+1200)
New England ranks second in the AFC entering its "Monday Night Football" game against the Giants, and it could take over the top spot with a Week 13 win. But according to Tankathon.com, the Patriots have the easiest strength of schedule in football. They're riding a nine-game win streak into the Dec. 1 game, but only two of those wins were over teams in a current playoff spot. The Patriots' win over the Bills on "Sunday Night Football" was a big deal in Week 5, but they need to prove they can beat more than a couple of playoff contenders to push for another Super Bowl victory.
8. Indianapolis Colts: (+1400)
After a strong start to the season, the Colts have hit a rough stretch. They've lost three of their last four games, and the one win was a narrow, overtime victory they eked out over the Falcons in Berlin. Holders of the AFC's No. 1 seed a few weeks ago, Indianapolis is now out of the top spot in its division. Can quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Jonathan Taylor help right the ship?
T-9. Baltimore Ravens: (+1600)
Baltimore's midseason surge came to a screeching halt on Thanksgiving. After a 1-5 start to the year, the Ravens ripped off five straight wins to get back above .500. But the Bengals beat them in prime-time on Turkey Day in quarterback Joe Burrow's triumphant return from a Week 2 turf toe injury. Baltimore should still be the favorite to win the AFC North, but their reliability and sustainability in a postseason run are iffy.
T-9. Kansas City Chiefs: (+1600)
The Chiefs, who are currently outside of the AFC playoff picture at 6-6, hold shorter odds to win the Super Bowl than two teams currently on the inside of the playoff bubble. Kansas City is almost certainly out of the AFC West title race and at risk of missing the playoffs entirely. Their scoring offense and scoring defense both rank in the top 10, but it hasn't translated into a winning record through 13 weeks. Sportsbooks aren't willing to count out the Chiefs and quarterback Patrick Mahomes until they're entirely eliminated from contention.
11. Detroit Lions: (+2000)
12. San Francisco 49ers: (+2500)
T-13. Chicago Bears: (+3000)
T-13. Houston Texans: (+3000)
15. Los Angeles Chargers: (+3500)
T-16. Jacksonville Jaguars: (+4000)
T-16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: (+4000)
18. Dallas Cowboys: (+6000)
19. Pittsburgh Steelers: (+15000)
20. Cincinnati Bengals: (+20000)
21. Carolina Panthers: (+25000)
22. Miami Dolphins: (+75000)
T-23. Atlanta Falcons: (+150000)
T-23. Cleveland Browns: (+150000)
T-23. Minnesota Vikings: (+150000)
T-23. New York Jets: (+150000)
T-23. Washington Commanders: (+150000)
