A Roseville teenager was charged as an adult on carjacking and other crimes stemming from an incident at an Applebee’s restaurant while two other teens were released, prosecutors said Monday.
Jeremiah Collins, 15, was arraigned in 39th District Court on several charges including carjacking, fleeing from police, and assault. Visiting Judge Denis LeDuc set bond at $250,000.
Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido said the decision to charge Collins as an adult came “after a thorough review of all available evidence and consideration of the severity of the allegations.”
