Surprise is hosting a donation drive as part of its December day of service event.

Community members are encouraged to donate new socks at the Surprise Regional Library, Asante Library and the Surprise Senior Center from Monday, Dec 1 through Friday, Dec. 12.

All types and sizes are needed, including infant, youth and adult.

The Surprise Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave., will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays through Sundays.

Asante Library, 16755 W. Vereda Solana Drive, will be open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.

The Surprise Senior Center, 15832 N. Hollyhock St., will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.
