The family of a woman and two children who died in a crash days before Thanksgiving is reaching out to the community to help with financial expenses.

The daughter of the woman, identified as Carolyn, started a GoFundMe for her mom and two adopted sisters,7-year-old Sophia, and 5-year-old Faithann.

The three were killed on Tuesday in a multi-vehicle crash in Lake City on US-90.

“On their way home, their lives were tragically cut short when they were hit head-on by a man who was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. The accident not only took them from us but also left a deep wound in our hearts and community,” the GoFundMe said.
