Boise State football has beat the odds yet again, securing not only a spot in the Mountain West title game, but hosting it in the City of Trees against the UNLV Rebels for the third consecutive season.

Before the final regular game against Utah State, ESPN's Football Power index gave Boise State a 22.0% chance of winning the Mountain West Championship. Now, all that stands between the Broncos and a three-peat is a very familiar conference foe.

Friday's championship matchup between Boise State and UNLV was decided by computer rankings. The Mountain West Conference revealed the decision Sunday morning following an anxious wait for the tiebreaker calculations to be finalized.
