Donald Trump underwent preventative cardiovascular and abdominal checks as part of an MRI scan , the White House has confirmed. It came amid rising waves of concern about the US President's health and cognitive abilities.

The announcement about Trump 's health was made by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt during a briefing. She told reporters that "men in his age group benefit from thorough evaluation of cardiovascular and abdominal health".
