ROCKFORD, Ill. — Local residents can expect a short delay in this week's yard waste pickup.
The City of Rockford said they were told by Rock River Disposal that "most" yard waste routes on Monday will be delayed by up to one day.
Due to the change, residents who have their yard waste picked up on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays may also experience a one-day delay, according to the City.
The City said garbage and recycling pickup will run on the normal schedule this week.
