A local family is relieved after their stolen car and the dog that was inside were found. How the car was taken has stunned many people, however.

It all started in the parking lot of Rookwood Commons. Olivia’s husband, Jimmy Hermann, kept the car running with Dolly inside while he ran inside to pick up a pizza. He locked the doors and took the key fob with him.

“Two minutes later, walked out and the car was gone,” Hermann said.
