Heavy rainfall fueled by cyclones and other storms triggered the disaster, impacting countries like Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, according to CNN and Sky News . The severe weather began last week.
As of Monday, Dec. 1, authorities have said at least 390 deaths have been recorded in Sri Lanka
