EUCLID, Ohio — An investigation is underway after a fire destroyed a cabinet shop in Euclid. A dog was also killed as a result of the fire.
According to the Euclid Fire Department, crews responded to the scene at around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday near East 200th Street and Trebec Avenue.
Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters saw heavy smoke pushing from the concrete block walls of the wood-roofed building.
"Firefighters initially entered to make an attack, but were driven out by collapsing roof and stored materials. Two ladder pipes were put in-service as well as two 2 1/2” hand lines," said the Euclid Fire Department.
