The Chicago Bears are sitting at the top of the NFC, and a few of their players also are on top of the league — at least in the first round of Pro Bowl voting revealed Monday by the NFL.
Free safety Kevin Byard, center Drew Dalman and guard Joe Thuney are the top NFC vote-getters at their positions though 10 a.m. Monday. They lead a list of 16 Bears players in the top 10 overall within their respective position in the first round of Pro Bowl voting .
Byard leads the NFL with six interceptions. Dalman and Thuney came over from Atlanta and Kansas City to help lead a rebuilt offensive line that is second in the NFL in rushing yardage and sixth overall in total yardage.
