Megan Thee Stallion got some good news on Monday as she heads in to the holidays.
Jurors ruled in favor of the rapper born Megan Pete in her defamation trial that started Nov. 17 in downtown Miami. Closing arguments wrapped Nov. 26.
According to NBC News, the “Hot Girl Summer” singer was initially awarded $75,000 before U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga reduced it to $59,000.
Pete had sued social media influencer Milagro Cooper in October 2024, claiming she harassed and defamed her online “for years” after her ex, Tory Lanez, shot her in the feet in July 2020. The Canadian singer is currently serving 10 years at the California Correctional Institution after losing his appeal.
