Firefighters were on the scene of a Monday afternoon fire at Andrew S. McCreath & Son, Inc. in Swatara Township.

The fire broke out after 3 p.m. in the 1600 block of Bobali Drive.

As of 4:40 p.m., Swatara Township Fire Chief Michael Ibberson said the fire, which had been contained to a small portion of the building, was under control.

“They are just looking for different hot spots to clean up, and eventually we’ll get our fire investigators in there,” he said.

Ibberson said the building was occupied at the time the fire broke out and added he was not aware of any injuries.

Hazmat units were on the scene. Ibberson said there is no danger to residents.

Multiple fire companies, including several from Cumberland County, were called to the scene.
