An Otsego County man has been arrested on arson charges.

According to a news release from Otsego County Sheriff's Office, Austin Hitt, 24, of Schenevus, was arrested Nov. 23 following an investigation of a reported residential fire that occurred in the hamlet of Schenevus. Hitt allegedly entered the residence and set a fire.
