HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – With wintry road conditions expected overnight, crews are expected to have their hands full by Tuesday morning.
But it’s not anticipated to be nearly as bad as last January when a massive snowfall was followed by ice and then more snow.
That storm forced public works directors all over our region to re-evaluate their plow and salt strategies.
On Monday afternoon, the city of Huntington laid out plans for the winter ahead.
WSAZ’s Tim Irr spoke with Mark Bates, director of Public Works for the city of Huntington, about those plans.
