PHOENIX — A Mesa woman allegedly admitted to trying to kill her boyfriend just days after Thanksgiving, according to court records.
Tamala Shea Rudeseal was arrested on Nov. 27, after police were called to a home on S. Country Club Drive and found her boyfriend with a wound on his neck.
During a 911 call, Rudeseal reportedly was heard saying, "I'm sick of what you do to me, today is Independence Day." Court records show Rudeseal was also heard saying, "Yes...I did just try to murder you," and "I'm ready to go to prison."
When officers arrived at the home, they found Rudeseal's boyfriend with a cut running from his left ear to the center of his neck. He was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery.
