ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A shooting involving an officer in Bartow County is under investigation, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).

The shooting incident happened on GA-20 Spur in Cartersville.

The GBI said it was asked by the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office to investigate.

The GBI has not said what led up to the shooting or identified anyone involved.
