BILLINGS, Mont. – Residents of Billings braved the snow and freezing temperatures to visit the Adult and Teen Challenge tree lot at Faith Chapel.
The lot is not just a place to buy Christmas trees, but a source of hope for many. The Trees for Hope fundraiser supports men and women across Montana working through addiction recovery. The initiative also offers students a way to give back to the community.
Ryne Strouth, program coordinator at the Adult and Teen Challenge men's campus in Billings, emphasized the impact of the program. "But this is a way that we're able to help put students through our program, through the support of the community and also the guys that they're able to give back to the community they've been taken from for so long," said Strouth.
