ALLEN PARK -- There is a lot riding on the line every time the Detroit Lions take the field for the next month.

But this Thursday’s showdown against the Dallas Cowboys will provide a ton of answers about this team’s chances at climbing out of this hole. The Lions are 7-5, hosting a Dallas Cowboys team that has won three straight, getting back into the hunt.
