NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Several schools in the Midstate have announced delays for Tuesday morning.
A First Alert Weather Day has been issued for Tuesday due to a potential wintry mix.

Mixed precipitation will break out across the Midstate early Monday evening and continue through the night.
Temperatures will drop overnight, putting Nashville’s bridges and overpasses at risk for slick spots for the morning commute. Along the TN/KY line, accumulations of 1″ to as much as 2″ of sleet/snow are likely, so slippery spots on bridges, overpasses, and some secondary roads will be possible there.
