A road was taped off with emergency crews in attendance following a collision in Rochdale on Monday night (December 1). Police, paramedics and fire crews attended the incident on Edenfield Road to reports of the crash involving two vehicles.

The road was cordoned off with two cars seen badly damaged within the cordon. Two adults and a child were checked over at the scene having suffering minor injuries.

Pictures from the scene showed numerous fire engines in attendance following the crash at around 7pm, along with an ambulance and a police car, outside the Esso and Morrisons service station.

The road was taped off for around 40 minutes at the junction with Caldershaw Road in Cutgate. It is not clear if any arrests have been made in connection with the incident. View 2
