SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Cooper Pommer is the definition of the student-athlete. A 3.75 student, who’s taken part in cross-country, football, wrestling, and baseball during high school.
“When I was a freshman, there were a lot of seniors above me who set really good examples. They really pushed us every day in practice. They worked as hard as they possibly could, and I try to do that every day,” said Cooper.
Cooper’s competitive drive carries over to the classroom.
“Cooper is a great student. He is not afraid of work that is difficult. I appreciate the way that he will take on a challenge in class. If I present something that is difficult, or a project that is going to take days. You know he jumps on it, or works on it right away,” said social studies teacher Brook Begeman.
