AURORA, Colo. (KKTV) - The Aurora Police Department (APD) said an Aurora police officer has been terminated following being arrested in Westminster.
APD said Officer Philip Sullivan was arrested on Wednesday night following a domestic violence incident at his home in Westminster.
According to police, Sullivan is facing misdemeanor charges of third-degree assault, harassment, obstruction, resisting arrest, failure to leave a premise and prohibited use of a weapon.
Officers said Sullivan was terminated from his employment at the Aurora Police Department on Monday. He had reportedly served as an officer since January 2025.
