WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Warner Robins is counting down to its annual Christmas parade this weekend.
If you drive down Watson Boulevard right now, you'll notice some festive decorations starting to light up the street - giving a sneak peak of the celebrations ahead.
Joe Liercke, president of the non-profit Haunt for a Cause , said his group is entering its third year in the parade with two floats and about two dozen volunteers. The group is known for their haunted events and fundraising efforts.
“The memories, the nostalgia, right? You see the impact that you're providing,” Liercke said. “Even the people who come here to participate, they feel part of something. That’s important. We want to spread that out into the community.”
