CLEVELAND - City officials have declared a Snow Emergency Parking Ban as the city prepares for significant snowfall expected to impact travel and public safety. The ban will take effect at midnight Tuesday, Dec. 2, and remain in place until midnight Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Public Safety Director Wayne Drummond announced the temporary restrictions Monday to help keep major roads clear for snowplows and emergency crews. The order prohibits stopping, standing or parking on city streets marked with red-and-white Snow Emergency signs. It also applies to all streets designated as through streets or highways under Cleveland’s Codified Ordinance Section 413.02.
Snow Emergency streets are prioritized for essential services, including the movement of food and fuel, medical transport and police and fire
