OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - If you’re still needing to mark things off your holiday shopping list, consider visiting Owensboro this week!

The city is hosting their annual “Shop Owensboro” event in partnership with Independence Bank.

This week encourages people to shop local and celebrating the small businesses in the community.

Over 80 clothing stores, restaurants, bakeries, boutiques and more are participating.

The owners of one of those businesses, Willow and Pine, say it’s been a busy holiday shopping rush so far.
