RICHLAND, Wash. – Richland Police officers made two arrests last night related to burglaries and vehicle prowls in the area.

According to the department, just before 1:00 a.m., a caller reported seeing a person inside the secure fence at The Bunker on Wellsian Way.

The individual was found crouched by a door with a lockpick set nearby. He was arrested and taken to Benton County Jail for attempted burglary, police said.

A couple hours later, officers responded to a call from a homeowner on Basswood Ave. about a woman in their garage. They said a 34-year-old woman was found at a nearby 7-11 store and that she admitted to multiple burglaries on Basswood Ave. and several vehicle prowls on Wright Ave. and Birch Ave. She was arrested and booked into Benton County Jail for multiple crimes.
