A group of Downtown Cincinnati restaurants, bars and entertainment venues are working to help fund a new Marriott convention headquarters hotel.
Through the Fountain District Community Authority, 28 businesses in the area will implement a fee of one penny per dollar spent to help the project’s completion. Advertisement
The 700-room Marriott convention headquarters hotel is set to start construction by the end of this year and open in 2028.
The hotel will feature a 62,000 square-feet meeting space, a 17,445-square-foot events terrace and upscale amenities. It will also include multiple ballrooms, ground-floor retail and an outdoor terrace overlooking 5th Street.
