CLEVELAND — The U.S. Navy Blue Angels will headline the 2026 Cleveland National Air Show, returning to Burke Lakefront Airport over Labor Day weekend, organizers have announced.
The elite six-pilot demonstration team is scheduled to perform Sept. 5–7 with its signature one-hour show, featuring the four-jet Diamond Formation and high-speed maneuvers by two solo pilots.
Cleveland is one of 32 U.S. cities selected to host the squadron in 2026.
Two members of the team — Blue Angel No. 7, Lt. Ronny Hafeza of Redondo Beach, California, and Blue Angel No. 8, Lt. Cmdr. Lilly Montana of Vienna, Virginia — arrived in Cleveland on Monday for an advance visit. They conducted a flyover in their F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft before meeting with air show officials and partner organizations.
