That’s two strikes for Giants rookie Abdul Carter.
Carter was benched Monday for the second time in three games under interim head coach Mike Kafka for a violation of team rules pertaining to missing all or part of a team responsibility, a league source told The Post.
It is part of a recurring theme during Carter’s rookie season where he has not been on time.

Carter was dressed in a winter coat on the sideline for the entirety of the Patriots’ 11-play opening drive.
Two weeks ago, Carter missed a 15-minute walkthrough while he was in a recovery bed in the training facility.
Carter adamantly denied that he was sleeping through the walkthrough but that it was part of his training regimen.
