XL Bully shook schoolgirl, 16, 'like a toy' as it mauled her in the street

A schoolgirl has spoken of her terror as a vicious dog latched onto her leg and sank its teeth into her skin. Kerris Gledhill, from Norris Green , has undergone surgery after the suspected XL Bully attacked her in the street.

The 16-year-old was on her way home from a walk at Croxteth Park with her miniature dachshund when the dog reportedly came charging down Beversbrook Road in Norris Green and attacked. She recalled the terrifying incident which happened on Tuesday, November 25, at around 4.20pm, saying she is now "traumatised."
