Luigi Mangione is back in court this week as his defense lawyers are trying to bar the prosecution from using the contents of his backpack + statements he made to the police as evidence.
The 911 call was heard for the first time. The McDonald's manager made the call after an older female customer spotted him and was "frantic."
On the call, they heard that he ordered at a kiosk and sat at the rear of the McDonald's, trying to be "non-discreet." The manager said the only thing you could see were his eyebrows.
About two dozen Luigi supporters were seated in the back of the court room.
The hearings continue tomorrow. No trial date has been set, but this week will shape what's ahead.
